What is the best mining location

The coal goes - the area remains

At this year's commercial real estate fair EXPO REAL in Munich from October 8 to 10, 2018, the focus will again be on some major projects by RAG Montan Immobilien in the Ruhr metropolis and in the Steinfurt district. At the fair, the company will be presenting the Freedom Emscher project in Bottrop and Essen and the Ibbenbüren coal conversion project at stand B1.440. The projects involve the revitalization of the last two mining sites, which will be the last RAG collieries to be shut down at the end of the year. In the Ruhr area alone, an additional 200 hectares will be available for new developments in the future. In Ibbenbüren and the neighboring town of Mettingen, around 90 hectares of space will be free for future uses due to the withdrawal of mining. In total, RAG Montan Immobilien will then have 77 projects over 1,800 hectares in development in North Rhine-Westphalia and on the Saar.
