The director of the highly anticipated film, Ali AbbasZafar was the one who spilled the beans on Salman's fitness changes for the role. He said the actor pushed himself to do the role well. He also mentioned that it is impressive when one of India's greatest superstars walks the sand on a daily basis to maintain the fantastic level of fitness he has achieved.

Explaining the training plan, the directorSalim Khan's son trained in the gym for 3 months before filming began. He also trained every day while filming and never gave up, even when shooting in the Alps and doing some daring stunts. Bicycling was a preferred method of exercise for the actor as he got to the set after driving about 10 km on a bike. Aside from cycling, the star had also created his own exercise program.
