The college city of Boston

Boston is the largest city in the New England region and, with a population of around 590,000, is the capital of the state of Massachusetts on the east coast of the United States. It has a mild climate with average temperatures of no more than 33 ° C in summer and -9 ° C in winter and has natural harbors that could be created because of the highly fragmented Massachusetts Bay.

The atmosphere of this region is characterized above all by the fact that it is closer to the former motherland England in culture and tradition than the rest of the USA; to this day, Boston looks “very British” with its Victorian houses. The city has a lot to offer, especially in terms of culture and history, for example the “Freedom Trail”: a red line that leads over sidewalks within a distance of four kilometers to 16 sites of the American independence movement, starting with the city park “Boston Common “Through to graduation in Charlestown. The "Museum of Fine Arts" is one of the most important in New England, and the "Boston Athení¦um" is one of the oldest cultural institutions in Massachusetts with a library and art collections. The “Symphony Hall” and the “Boston Symphony Orchestra” residing in it are world-famous.

But you can also spend your free time here in a different way than culturally: for example, shopping, doing sports or just taking a walk, because Boston, as one of the oldest and wealthiest cities in the USA, has many beautiful corners to show. The nightlife is also very lively, especially in the pubs on Newbury Street or the nightclubs on Lansdowne Street.
